Neos update

Occupational therapist sent us back to consultant, he did examination and sent us straight for another xray. Unfortunately xray showed the medication Neo has been on hasn't worked so he has some other stuff to take on Saturday to clear out his bowel completely if it doesnt work Saturday we try again Sunday if that doesnt work we go back Monday and he will be in hospital - tube down nose to bowel to empty it.

Birthday break away

Break away for Reubens 6th and Mikes birthday, Bunyip Springs farmstay in the Bunya Mountains - out west on a cattle property. Fantastic
He had pancakes we made with fresh cows milk, fresh eggs and we used an old fashioned sifter and hand whisk, he loved the whole thing, he ate 8 of them before off to do "farm work" at 7.30am...

Early birthday morning tea

Reuben set up the table, he also wanted to do the Montessori "earth goes round the sun celebration" (you light a candle then walk a globe round it ie 1 year one earth goes round sun (Candle)
He also wrote a menu !



We had an early birthday morning tea on Saturday for Mike and Reubens birthdays just us and Sarah and Tala from the granny house.

Silent Auction

School are having a silent auction to raise money for aid for Pakistan.
People donate favours like cleaning,ironing,babysitting,music/language/knitting lesson, meals etc etc or companies donate holidays,jewellery, Big W vouchers etc etc. Then folk bid on it and all the money goes to Aid for Pakistan.

Being done over 36 hrs today and tomorrow.

Reuben donated 30 minutes of cleaning for someone, Neo donated 3 Bindi books and also "I will build wall at person house with cement and big rocks" (OK so I had to buy that one!) I donated a day of vacation care for a child in the school hols.

Reuben made this poster, he is serving at the BBQ tomorrow night quite excited, it's a big day or so started 8am today finishes 8pm tomorrow night.

Neo can't understand why there is so much rainwater in Pakistan maybe they need fix their gutters....and Reuben wants to save the world as usual...

Neo ill

Neo had to have a stay at the children's ward in Ipswich hospital. Had severe asthma was quite scary for a while but he soon bounced back.

When Reuben was a toddler just learning to get dressed he liked me to make him a "Clothes person" so it was easier for him to see how to get dressed. This week he has been laying out his clothes in his room like it the night before to make getting dressed for school easier, he's now showing Neo the trick..
Neos clothes a size 3 or 4 and Reubens a 7 or 8....
